Hello! I’m Arli Pagaduan, and I create stories through words, illustrations, and comics.
Check out my newest book, An Ode to Panels
An Ode to Panels is a celebration of how panels—the little squares, rectangles, and whatnot—welcome
our stories and teach us about life. They are small doorways that transport us to multiple worlds, and we are never quite the same after reading what’s in them.
Published by Anino Comics, it is available at Adarna House.
Welcome to Cat Cafeteria, my debut graphic novel
They’re called community cats—because it takes a community to care for them.
Kit and her Mama Mining feed community cats in their home at Barangay Buwan, Zambales. The cats arrive one by one as if lining up for food at a cafeteria! All is well and good, until one of the cats experiences health issues, funds start depleting, and a surly old neighbor, Mr. Simpatico, moves in next door. Kit quickly learns it takes a whole village to care for cats, and it can only happen when she starts asking for help from her community.
Published by Komiket as an Official Selection of the Philippine International Comics Festival (PICOF), it is available at Komiket.
Invite me for author visits, talks, and workshops at schools, libraries, and bookstores
Let’s collaborate on building kids’ (and kids’-at-heart!) creative and drawing habits, storytelling skills, and joy for human-made art! Let's co-create a world where children are drawing, and art is created, sung, acted, written, and danced, instead of being generated.
You may check the topics and workshops I have facilitated in the past here.
Let’s work together!
Let’s work on illustrations, books, book covers, comics, webtoons, advocacy-driven projects, social media content, logos, and anything else you think might need a human touch!
